Who doesn’t love breakfast carbs?

Well to put it mildly, I love carbs. Not to mention I love breakfast. But after recently finishing up a stint on the HCG diet I realized I can’t live without carbs no matter how hard I try. So what better way to alleviate this guilty sin than with finding healthier alternatives for things we all love. I mean, granted, I wouldn’t recommend eating this daily, but once every couple of weeks won’t kill anyone and plus it’s a cute little way to make breakfast for a loved one or spouse. So basically I found these little crescent rolls that are a little healthier than the regular croissant we buy at like starbucks or at a donut place. I do not recommend making croissants from scratch unless you have a couple days time and a lot of butter to waste. This is a quick, lighter version to just sort of make it quick. I just used a cute heart shape cookie cutter after rolling out the dough to get a cute effect for the same sort of thing.

I topped it with sprinkled cinnamon and baked according to package directions and easy enough cute heart shaped breakfast crescent rolls. Nutrition details can be found on the website for the product. It’s definitely a great little find and can be found at places like Whole Foods.
