9 Layer Super Bowl Dip

Serves 4-5 people
Preparation
1 16 ounce can refried beans (I use fat free)
1 16 ounce container reduced fat sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning
1 7.75 ounce can black beans, washed and drained
2 avocados
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup salsa (store bought or home made is fine)
1 cup lettuce, chopped
½ tomato, diced
2 springs green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon purple onions, chipped

To prepare first prepare the guacamole by peeling and removing the core from the avocado. Mix well with the lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside. Similarly mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning packet until well mixed. Set aside. Begin layering by first spreading the refried beans. Then add the sour cream mixture as the second layer followed by the black beans. Then add the guacamole as the next layer. Then add salsa layer and chopped lettuce. Then top with the tomatoes, green onions and onions. Serve with pita chips or tortilla chips.
